Need of Refrigerant Gases and Industrial Gases in Big Industries

KPL International
Refrigerant and industrial gases are used in various industries for variety of purposes. These gases are in use for several years and are used at office buildings, warehouses, hospitals and other places to maintain the air quality and climate.  Refrigerant gases are there for many years. These are gases condensed under pressure to yield chilled gases.

The refrigerant gases and industrial gases are used in big industries. These gases are sold in liquid, compressed or solid form. These gases include helium, argon, acetylene, carbon dioxide, neon, nitrogen, oxygen and nitrous oxide. Oxygen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen are common gases and argon, neon, xenon and krypton are rare gases.

Chemicals Sourcing
These Industrial gases are used virtually in every industry and in every facet of life. Here are some instances where different gases are used for different purposes. Oxygen, Nitrogen and argon, the three major atmospheric gases are used in steel production.  Similarly oxygen reduces brick-making costs by enhancing kiln firing. Liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen used for fueling rockets. Oxygen is used for welding, cutting, in treatment of water, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and more.

Nitrogen gas is used for variety of purposes in industries such as recycling tyres, brewing beer, applying metallic finishes on toys and synthesizing ammonia that is used in fertilizers, hydrazine, urea, amines and nitric acid. It is used for manufacturing nitrous oxide that is used for anesthesia for surgeries. Liquid nitrogen and liquid carbon dioxide are of great importance in industrial sector. They are used for making plastic fittings for moldings, enable solvent recycling and enhance oil recovery from wells. Argon is used in stainless steel manufacturing industry. It is also a major component in fluorescent lighting.

The need and requirement of industrial gases and refrigerant gases is increasing with growing industrialization, especially in Western world. Demand for Oxygen is growing in steel manufacturing industry. This gas helps in improved manufacturing processes.  In addition, Nitrogen, which was once thought to be a waste, helium and argon are also required in huge amount.

These gases are pure elements or mixtures or compounds in gaseous state at room temperature. They are used for variety of industrial applications depending upon their type. Rare gases like neon, Argon are used   for laser applications.

Chemical Import Export
Manufacturing of industrial gases differs from other types of industries as its raw materials are extracted from atmosphere.  Since some of these gases are very volatile, they need special kind of handling and storage for safe usage.  For instance, hydrogen is highly inflammable and needs careful handling and storage. An industrial gas manufacturer provides the storage and processing equipment required for handling gas along with gases. These equipments include storage tanks, distribution systems, pressure vessels, cryogenic trailers and more. Industrial gas supply also provides equipments for working with refrigerant gases.  It is important to contact an industrial gas manufacturer and supplier that follows the norms and standards set by industry. One such company is KPLIntl that is known for its good quality products.
